Kyle Fitzsimmons Named Among City & State PA’s 2026 Government Relations Honorees
HARRISBURG, PA, Jan. 28, 2026 — Kyle Fitzsimmons, Vice President, Public Affairs at GSL Public Strategies Group, has been recognized by City & State PA as among its 2026 listing of the most impactful Government Relations professionals.
Honorees are distinguished for their keen ability to connect lawmakers, organizations and communities and secure funding for diverse sectors in Pennsylvania. City & State PA has recognized Mr. Fitzsimmons for his “quarter-century of experience in state government” and his efforts in helping to “expand tax credit programs, establish the state’s e-scooter pilot program and secure critical funding for public infrastructure and economic development projects.”
Mr. Fitzsimmons is a native of Northeast Pennsylvania and has more than 27 years of experience in state government. He began his career in the Pennsylvania State Senate and quickly rose through the ranks to serve as Chief of Staff for Senator John Yudichak. In this pivotal role, he was instrumental in shaping key policy and overseeing daily operations in Harrisburg and district offices.
A decade ago, Mr. Fitzsimmons began a successful career in government affairs through his extensive government experience and notable bipartisan relationships. Clients and peers often rely on his skill and collaborative approach in working with members of state government on both sides of the aisle to achieve policy and legislative goals. Among his numerous successes. Mr. Fitzsimmons has assisted with expanding tax credit programs, enacting the Nursing Shortage Assistance Program, spearheading Pennsylvania’s first e-scooter pilot program, amending complex state licensure laws and securing critical funding from programs like RACP, CFA LSA, PennDOT/DCED Multimodal, and DCED’s Public School Facility Improvement Grant program for crucial infrastructure and economic development projects.
